Front desk notifications
Appraisal Host sends operational text notifications to Appraisal Host staff who subscribe, including summaries of answered calls and new business lead alerts from our phone line.
Order status notifications
Customers with an Appraisal Host account can opt in to receive appraisal order texts, including new order assignments, order status updates, and appointment reminders. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
How you opt in
Consent is collected in writing, and it is always a step of its own. Staff consent is a separate, optional section of the onboarding service agreement, with its own checkbox that is unchecked by default, and signing the agreement does not require agreeing to text messages. Customer consent is a separate, optional checkbox in your Appraisal Host account settings, also unchecked by default, where you provide your mobile number and turn text notifications on. Agreeing to receive text messages is optional, is collected through its own separate checkbox that is never pre-checked, and is not a condition of signing up for or using Appraisal Host.
Every subscriber sees and agrees to the following consent language before any text is sent:

Your mobile phone number and opt-in information are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Confirmation and opt-out
After opting in, subscribers receive a welcome text confirming their enrollment. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. Opting out stops all messages from our number immediately.
